Is the Gold Star learner legal?: Yes. The Gold Star 650 and the Scrambler 650 are both learner approved in Australia, despite the 652cc capacity, because of the way the single-cylinder engine's power is delivered.
What does the Gold Star cost?: Pricing starts from $12,249.00 RRP ride away. The Scrambler 650 starts from $11,799.00 RRP ride away. Your dealer confirms final ride-away pricing.
How much power does the 652cc single make?: 45 hp at 6,500 rpm and 55 Nm at 4,000 rpm, through a five-speed gearbox, on both the Gold Star and the Scrambler.
What warranty comes with the bike?: Three years with unlimited miles on all Euro 5+ models.
Who owns BSA now?: BSA Company Ltd was acquired in October 2016 by Classic Legends Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of the Mahindra Group. The first new model, the Gold Star, launched in 2021.
When does the Bantam 350 arrive in Australia?: The Bantam 350 was unveiled internationally in July 2025 at £3,499 RRP. Australian timing and pricing are still to be confirmed — register interest to be told first.
Can I become a BSA dealer?: Yes. BSA reviews every dealership application personally and never asks for deposits or payments before reviewing an application. If anyone requests money for a dealership, ignore it and contact BSA directly.
